Purpose of The Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Production Assistant to join our team for the Esports Awards on a contract basis. As a Production Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting both the Broadcast and Events teams to ensure the smooth execution of our annual awards ceremony, which celebrates and recognizes excellence within the esports industry. Your attention to detail, strong communication skills, and ability to work collaboratively will be essential in helping us deliver a world-class event that leaves a lasting impression on our global audience.

Overall Responsibilities

• Logistics Support: Assist the Events team in coordinating logistics for the awards ceremony, including venue setup, signage, attendee registration, and managing supplies and equipment.
• Talent Coordination: Collaborate with the Events team to help coordinate the arrival, accommodation, and on-site needs of presenters, performers, and other talent involved in the show.
• Production Coordination: Work closely with the Broadcast team to facilitate the setup of broadcast equipment, cameras, lighting, and audio systems during rehearsals and on the event day.
• Run of Show: Assist in the preparation and distribution of the detailed run of show document to all relevant teams and personnel, ensuring everyone is well-informed about their roles and responsibilities.
• On-Site Support: Be present during rehearsals and the event day to provide on-the-ground support, address any last-minute changes, and assist with problem-solving to ensure a seamless show execution.
• Content Management: Collaborate with the Broadcast team to organize and manage show-related content, such as video packages, graphics, and other assets, ensuring they are readily accessible during the live broadcast.
• Time Management: Help ensure that all elements of the production adhere to strict timelines and schedules, assisting in keeping rehearsals and the live show on track.
• Communication Hub: Act as a liaison between the Broadcast and Events teams, relaying information, updates, and changes effectively to ensure all parties are aligned and working cohesively.
• Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve any technical or logistical issues that arise during rehearsals and the live show, working with relevant teams to find swift solutions.
• Post-Production Support: Assist in post-production activities, including archiving footage, collating feedback, and contributing to post-event reports and evaluations.

• Flexible Schedule: Availability to work irregular hours, including evenings and weekends, particularly during event preparation and the live show.
• Enthusiasm for Esports: A passion for esports and an understanding of the gaming culture is a plus, as it will help you better connect with the event’s audience and stakeholders.
