Purpose of The Role

We are seeking a talented and innovative Front of House/Experiential Producer to join our team for the Esports Awards on a contract basis. As the Front of House/Experiential Producer, you will play a pivotal role in creating a captivating and unforgettable in-house experience for attendees while ensuring seamless event flow and logistics. Your creativity, attention to detail, and ability to work collaboratively with both the Broadcast and Events teams will be crucial in delivering an outstanding and immersive awards ceremony that celebrates excellence within the esports industry.

Overall Responsibilities

• In-House Experience: Design and execute an exceptional in-house experience for event attendees, elevating the overall atmosphere and engagement throughout the awards ceremony.
• Event Flow and Logistics: Collaborate with the Events team to plan and manage event flow, considering the timing and placement of key elements, awards presentations, entertainment segments, and other show components.
• Show Entertainment: Conceptualize, source, and coordinate engaging entertainment elements that enhance the attendee experience, ensuring they align with the esports industry’s culture and expectations.
• Audience Engagement: Develop strategies to actively engage the audience during the live event, encouraging participation, and fostering a sense of community and excitement.
• On-Site Management: Oversee all front-of-house operations during the awards ceremony, including managing ushers, greeters, and other staff responsible for enhancing the attendee experience.
• Guest Relations: Coordinate VIP guest experiences, providing personalized attention and ensuring their needs are met throughout the event.
• Technical Coordination: Work closely with the Broadcast team to integrate in-house experiences seamlessly with the live broadcast, ensuring a cohesive and immersive experience for both the live and remote audience.
• On top of this there may be other duties and tasks from time to time that require support, these will be in line with the role core duties and provide an opportunity to be involved in tenders and proposals that support and develop the business.

Personal specification

• Event Production Expertise: Proven experience in producing high-quality, experiential events, with a focus on attendee engagement and satisfaction.
• Creativity and Innovation: A strong creative vision and ability to think outside the box, creating unique and memorable experiences that leave a lasting impact.
• Logistics Management: Excellent organizational skills with the ability to plan and manage complex event logistics efficiently.
• Team Collaboration: A collaborative mindset with the ability to work closely with both the Broadcast and Events teams, fostering a harmonious and unified event production process.
• Problem-Solving Skills: Quick thinking and resourcefulness to address any on-site challenges and make real-time adjustments to ensure a smooth event flow.
• Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively convey ideas, instructions, and concepts to various stakeholders.
• Experience in Esports: Familiarity with the esports industry, gaming culture, and esports events is a plus, enabling a deeper understanding of the audience’s preferences and expectations.
• Leadership: Demonstrated leadership abilities to inspire and guide on-site staff, ensuring a cohesive team effort during the live event. Proficient within Adobe suite software primarily In-Design, Illustrator and Photoshop.
